Financial Modeling Mastery Program
Build practical skills that Australian finance professionals actually use
Look, most finance courses throw theory at you and hope something sticks. We do things differently. Our program focuses on the modeling techniques that matter in real business environments—from startup projections to corporate valuations. You'll work through scenarios based on actual Australian market conditions, not textbook examples from decades ago.

Learn From Finance Practitioners
Jasper Thornbury
Lead Instructor – Financial Modeling
Spent the last twelve years building financial models for mid-market M&A deals across the Asia-Pacific region. Before that, worked in corporate finance at BHP and later moved to boutique advisory. I've seen what works in practice versus what looks good in theory. My teaching approach focuses on efficiency—building models that are both accurate and maintainable. Outside of finance, I spend too much time tinkering with vintage motorcycles.
Neve Blackwood
Valuation Specialist
My background is in equity research and private equity valuation. I've covered everything from mining companies to tech startups, which means I've had to adapt valuation methodologies to wildly different business models. Teaching this stuff forces me to break down complex concepts, and honestly, it's made me a better analyst. I believe the best way to learn valuation is by doing it repeatedly with different scenarios until the logic becomes second nature.
Callum Redgrave
Corporate Finance Advisor
Worked in FP&A roles for about fifteen years, primarily with ASX-listed companies in the consumer goods and retail sectors. I handle the budget and forecasting modules because that's where I've spent most of my career—building annual plans, reforecasting quarterly, and explaining variances to executives who want answers fast. The key is creating models that update easily and communicate clearly. When I'm not teaching, I'm usually at a cricket match or trying new coffee spots around Sydney.
How The Program Works
We've designed this to fit around working schedules. Classes run in the evenings, and all sessions are recorded if you need to catch up later.
-
14-Week Duration
Two sessions per week, each running about two hours. That gives you time to absorb material and work through practice problems between classes. Most students find the pace challenging but manageable with their full-time roles.
-
Live Online Sessions
All instruction happens through interactive online sessions where you can ask questions in real-time. We keep class sizes small—usually around 18 students—so there's actual discussion rather than just lecture-style presentations. Recording access lasts for six months after the program ends.
-
Practical Assignments
Each module includes hands-on assignments using real financial data. You'll build models from scratch, not fill in templates. Instructors review your work and provide detailed feedback on both your methodology and model design. This is where most of the learning happens.
-
Capstone Project
The final two weeks involve a comprehensive modeling project where you'll value an actual Australian company. You choose the company, build the model, and present your findings. Previous students have told us this piece becomes a solid portfolio addition.
Next Program Intake
Our autumn 2025 program starts in late September. Applications typically open about eight weeks before the start date, and we fill spots on a first-come basis once we confirm minimum enrollment. If you're considering joining, get your application in early.
